Andy Evans

2016-12-07

Congratulations to the very first Marquette Mutineer of the Week, #8 Andy Evans!

Evans is a 24-year-old Marquette native who has been skating since the age of 3. His versatility as a player shows in his ability to play both defense and forward positions. Here he is showing both sets of skills boxing out former Wisconsin Badgers' captain Chase Drake (purple) near the crease.

Andy's most memorable hockey moment was winning the Midget B state championship in 2009. His favorite pro team to root for is the Detroit Red Wings!

Off the ice, Evans works with the Laborer's Union Local 1329 and enjoys playing Guts frisbee, spending time in the woods, and drinking Busch.

Good luck to Andy and the rest of the Mutineers this weekend as they travel to Wisconsin to take on the West Bend Bombers Friday night and the Fond du Lac Bears on Saturday night!
