Your Marquette Mutineer of the week Andrew Plomer!

Hailing from Curtis, Michigan, 22 year old Andrew plays center for the Mutineers. His hockey career includes two years with the Marquette Electricians and two years playing for Espanola Rivermen in the NOJHL, coached by former NHL all-star Tom McCarthy.

"Moving to Marquette when I was 17 and becoming a Marquette Electrician was one of the best moments of my life. It changed everything for me for the better," said Plomer.

Off the ice, Andrew is a building technology major at NMU and works at the Landmark Inn. He loves to fish and hunt, and enjoys cheering on the Red Wings, his favorite pro team.

Plomer had this to say about playing for the Mutineers, "I am proud to represent Marquette in the new franchise. I hope to be a part of bringing old time hockey and excitement back to Marquette!"
