2017-01-02

Former Redmen goalie needs your help in a long recovery

The Marquette hockey community is once again coming together to help one of their own in need.

Former Marquette Redman goalie Johnny Beckman was seriously injured in an accident on November 5. After time spent at the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit at the University of Michigan Hospital, he has returned home but will return for surgeries next week.

With further treatment and physical rehabilitation needed, a pasta dinner will be held at the Marquette Masonic Temple on Sunday, January 8 from 5-8 p.m.. The food is catered by The Pasta Shop and multiple bucket drawings, 50/50's and silent auction items will be available.

Tickets are $12 per person and are available presale at Lutey's flower shop and the MSHS guidance office. There will also be a table available for purchase and information at both Marquette Mutineers games this weekend and at the event.
