This week’s Mutineer of the week is Austin Cline!

This week’s Mutineer of the week is Austin Cline! Cline is 22 years old and a forward for the Mutineers.

Cline has competed in various leagues before playing with the Marquette Mutineers. He started in the Midget AA league playing for the Chicago
Bruins. He was a part of the Illinois state championship team with the under 18 team and also was third in nationals. He then played for the Breezy Point North Stars of the NA3HL. After that, Cline played for the Bradford Bulls team in the Greater Metro Hockey League (GMHL).
From there, Cline played for the Northern Michigan University’s club hockey team until finally finding his way to the Mutineers.

Cline is graduating NMU this May with a Bachelor’s degree in management of health and fitness. His favorite Pro team is the Chicago Blackhawks and his hobbies include golfing, and slow pitch softball in the summers; with snowboarding and playing pond hockey in the winters.

One of his favorite memories playing hockey was winning a junior hockey
championship in the GMHL for the Bradford Bulls. He decided to play for the Mutineers because he really wanted to continue playing hockey with his friends that he has made in a short time in Marquette. He also likes it because he can play quality hockey while pursuing his degree.

Cline is fourth on the Mutineers in goals and points this season, notching six goals and five assists in 14 games.
