Pasta Shop Presents "Mutineers Dine-Cast"

2017-02-16

Shows to highlight the Mutineers and other Marquette teams

The Marquette Mutineers are pairing up with the Pasta Shop to create the "Mutineers Dine-Cast", a weekly video show set to air on Facebook Live.

"We're really excited about this and the chance to again do something different in the Marquette area," Mutineers General Manager Brice Burge said. "We're able to keep improving our social media interaction while keeping it casual and fun."

Starting on Thursday, Feb. 23, the show will air live every Thursday at 3 p.m. on the Mutineers Facebook page until after the postseason tournament, with the final show airing on April 6. The show will be filmed at the Pasta Shop, located at 824 N Third Street.

The show will have three Mutineers players or Executive Board members as available. Shows should last about 15 minutes and should make viewers feel like they will be at the table during a team meal.

"Teams of all kinds have been using the Pasta Shop for years to help them get ready for a big game, both by getting good food and sharing some comraderie," Burge said. "Whether fans are watching live or cooking dinner or watching during their lunch break on Friday, they're always going to be welcome at our table."

In addition to insights about the team and their opponents, "Mutineers Dine-Cast" will also highlight other Marquette teams and hockey events as they make their postseason. If your group is looking for a hockey-related game result, fundraising opportunity or special event highlighted during the show, email mqtmutineers@gmail.com with the subject "Mutineers Dine-Cast Shoutout"
